Dominance, Balloons, and Socrates.
Today was a short day because of early dismissal. We worked
on Hands on Equations, which were challenging and then went to the computer lab
to work on Scratch to design our holiday card. We discussed parts of the brain
and what each of the three parts did. When we were done we played games to see what
our dominant side was. We took some eye test by looking through a tube, and
another one by making our hands in a triangular shape and focusing in on
something. We took a hand/arm test by writing, picking up a cup of water, and
throwing a ball. The foot and leg test were fun too. We ran and jumped to see
what leg we jumped off of and we dropped kicked a ball to see what foot we
would kick off of. We found out that most professional sports players are right
handed.
