Third Graders
OOOOPPPPSSSS! I forgot to capture my third graders activities today. They continued to work on their Genius Hour projects that are due on May 26th. It should be interesting to see what their final presentations will look like, since we have an eclectic smorgasbord of topics from Alcatraz, constellations, tsunamis, and more.*********************************************************************************
FOURTH GRADE
"The Smell of Success"
The students studied physical science and the concept of change, especially chemical change. After reading a story about Charles Goodyear and his invention of the vulcanized rubber, students participated in two experiments using raw eggs, vinegar, milk, and ammonia.
Bella and James getting ready to toss their rubber eggs.
We did find time to read Romeo and Juliet. Lindy loves to make a character diagram for every book we read.
