      Second Graders: After studying bridges/structures, students learned about Claude Monet and his famous paintings by creating their own masterpieces.

Third Graders
 OOOOPPPPSSSS! I forgot to capture my third graders activities today. They continued  to work on their Genius Hour projects that are due on  May 26th. It should be interesting to see what their final presentations will look like, since we have an eclectic smorgasbord of topics from Alcatraz, constellations, tsunamis, and more.

FOURTH GRADE
"The Smell of Success" 
The students studied physical science and the concept of change, especially chemical change. After reading a story about Charles Goodyear and his invention of the vulcanized rubber, students participated in two experiments using raw eggs, vinegar,milk, and ammonia.

We did find time to read Romeo and Juliet. Lindy loves to make a  character diagram for every  book we read.
