     Week of September 29th

Today in GT we played a game called One Window,we also went to the computer lab  because we needed to do a GT assignment on the computer.  We read a book called the Phantom Tollbooth that went with the assignment.  After that we did a visual brainstorm math card game and we read an article  about our brain. Afterwards we wrote how we use our brain in life then we had a fun rest of the day at our classroom!!!!!!!!!!!!

In GT we started the great day with a Perplexer, a math game Then  we went to the technology center AKA the computer lab to learn how to sign into Google Classroom. This is where we will get our homework assignments to Mrs. Horan. We can add links, pictures, photos and other things to this site. After that we learned about da Vinci and the principals by which he believed in. So far, we covered, curiosita, dimostrazione, and sensazione. After that we tried to solve a origami challenge and also ate lunch with Mrs. Horan outside,  Then we all sat down with a great book Wednesday Wars. We  took a tour of our school with our ipads taking pictures that we felt  da Vinci would be interested in. When we returned to the room we shared our findings. We cleaned up later. I can't wait till the next GT day!

Today in GT we started off with a perplexer and did a couple of projects. Then, we went to the computer lab and learned about google classroom and chatted a little! We finally finished the projects and worked on our super heroes and topped it all off with a video! We talked about Veterans Day and we had a Socratic dialogue about how you know who your true friends are. Now we have two projects due. One about the difference between watching vs observing something. The project is due October 30th.  Using Google Classroom we must present this project by a power point, pictures, graphs , chart or a video.
