"This week in GT we started a little bit different
than usual,Amrutha Konduru brought a Braille book that her mom let her
borrow, then we went to the computer lab to put music into our scratch holiday
cards,it took us about an hour to do that, when we got back we read a chapter of
The Phantom Tollbooth then we made rough drafts in
our journals about ourself then we down loaded google docs onto the iPad's so we could type
it in there and send it to Mrs. Horan.. We placed our selfie picture and poem together and placed them out in the hall. ."
Sean showing his rock he purchased while on vacation.
Amrutha taught us a mini lesson on Braille and we were able to figure out a message.

Today was a excelling day like every single G.T. day. First, we did some riddles. They were challenging, but fun! Then we did some math. It was fun! Math always makes me feel relaxed. I didn't get it at first, but when I saw Mrs. Horan do it on the board, it made me get the concept more. After math, we went to the computer lab. What we did in the computer lab is we found photos of our artists' artwork. Then, we went to Picmonkey.com and made a collage. It was really cool. When we were finished with the collages, we e-mailed them to Mrs. Horan. That was amazing! After that, we went back to class and read a lot of Chasing Vermeer. Like always when we read the book, Bryan said Vermeer every time the word Vermeer came up in the book. That was fun. After that, we took our Da Vinci book and we went to the sense section of our book.We looked at a view from a huge window and looked at details we never noticed before. I never noticed that there were so many colors in view. That was extraordinary. Then we had lunch and after lunch was recess. Before we went to recess, Mrs. Horan asked us a question. She asked us to find something you never noticed before. I didn't notice the huge mountains at the end of my view. Then we came back to the classroom and we more in the sense section. We did tasting! We tasted Pineapple, Gummy Worms, Cinnamon, and some Pretzel. They were all yummy to the last bite! After that, we did some of the curiosità section. We wrote some questions in our Da Vinci book. I was very curious. Then, we did our report card for G.T.. I think I am a good student like everybody else in the whole classroom. After report cards, We tried to build buildings out of cardboard and wood. That was really hard but challenging. I will never give up and continue to figure it out!!! After 20 minutes of trying to build it, it was time to go. Another splendid day comes to an end. As I walk out the classroom with a heart warmed spirit, I thought to myself, This is the best day ever!!! By Alexander
