Oobleck, Brains, Eyes, Equality......
2nd Graders
The students spent the beginning of class trying to prove .......
Which shape is more stable, a triangle or a square?
They tested the stability of a triangle and a square by standing them on a table and pressing on them.
Of course, this class wanted to take it a step further and connect all their shapes. Below is the awesome structure they made together by synergizing.
Making Oobleck- a suspension of cornstarch and water that can behave like a solid or a liquid depending on how much pressure you apply. Students learned the word VISCOSITY while participating in this science lesson today.********************************************************************************
