3rd Graders Overview of the Day.
William: We got a pet turtle and watched it swim, and then we looked for any Fibonacci numbers on his shell,which it had.
Sean: We worked on our Fibonacci spirals and decorated the outer edge. When we were done,we hung them outside our room for eveyone to see.
Ava: We worked on analogies and the relationships between words.
Lydia: We read a book about a donkey and his animal friends and how they outsmart a band of thieves and ran them out of an old house.
Marinda: Mrs. Horan's mom sent her an email of babies doing cute things, so we watched it at lunch.
Emily: In a worksheet we did word problem in algebra. They were very hard.
Amrutha: We did hands-on equation about people and their ages and we had to figure out what age the other person was by the information we already were given.
Narya: In the computer lab we did Bits Box and Scratch
Brendon: We worked on repetition in poetry.
Kate: We learned the difference between the words solo, duo, trio, and quartet.
Mariana: We made up stories and passed the microphone around the class for other people to continue the story.
Jathan:At lunch I learned how to play Mancala.
