Second Graders

Students are continuing to  construct their toys. You can see by their designs and intense faces that they are taking this pretty seriously.

FIRST GRADERS

Playing Brick by Brick can be very challenging!

Students finished their stories from last week and shared them with their classmates.

Finding patterns and shapes while listening to directions sure is fun!

3rd GRADERS
Last week in GT the first thing we did was a practice round of Mystery Hangout. We learned what questions to ask and how we can rule out a lot of states in one question. After that we went on the Smart Amp and played around with it for a little bit. We wrote down questions that we would ask the other school. When we were done with that, we started MATH DAY! We had centers around the room that we could play with such as: origami, pentominoes, 21st Century Chess, Brick by Brick. We also were able to use our laptops and iPads to do some coding with geometry and a game about movable gears. We learned a lot of things today and we had lots of fun!

Fourth Graders
Yesterday was AWESOME! First, we went out in the hallway to look at the trees blow, and the heavy rain. Then, we studied Forgery, and did examples on the board. Next, we did some interesting artist PowerPoints. Finally - my personal fave - we did a paper on if Shakespeare is the real King of English, or not.
